Welcome back to the Ventura family! Last round, Robert had started working on his garden, home and finding a partner. Let’s see what Robert is up to during the winter season.
We start the season with Robert standing outside in the snow., surveying his garden. He heads back to bed until a more reasonable time.
It’s New Years Day and Robert spends the day in Sulani, he is spending the day fishing and caught quite a few Sulani fish. He even mounted a couple of his favorites.
Robert is so in love with Riya that he isn’t going to wait another day to ask her to marry him. She says YES!
Robert and Riya get married soon after the engagement. They didn’t want to wait too long since both are waiting until marriage to woohoo. So they are both ready to make the next step, so they had a simple ceremony on Robert’s land. They are so happy together!
Wedding night fun! Risky Woohoo is on, so maybe the first baby is going to happy quickly. We’ll have to wait and see..
Now that Riya Ventura is part of the family, time for a makeover. Didn’t make too many changes but gave her new hairstyle and some outfits.
Riya and Robert spend the day in Sulani for their honeymoon. Robert fishes while Riya spends the time relaxing and getting a tan, right nearby. They spend the evening eating together.
After a day at the beach, Riya found out she’s pregnant with their first child! She’s so happy to have a new addition join the family.
She tells Robert, and he’s ecstatic about it too. They can’t wait for the baby to arrive.
It’s a SNOW DAY! No school or work today as there is too much snow on the ground. They spend the day having fun instead of their chores and working on their garden. They spend time skating, building a snow pal and doing snow angels. When Riya got too tired to be on her feet anymore, they play a game of chess. It was a great day for them both!
Doctor said the baby is a little girl so they decorate the room for the baby and also update their living room with a couch and fireplace.
With the extra money they have from their garden, Robert builds a small greenhouse for their plants. Right now it’s not very big but it’s all they can afford. In the future they plan to expand the building.
Time for the Spice Festival, Robert and Riya go to check out the atmosphere and try their hand at the challenge. Robert stops for a drink and to harvest some plants so he can add them to his garden.
Robert and Riya try their hands at the Spicy Curry Challenge. Robert does not handle his spices well but Riya manages to finish the whole plate.
During the spice festival, Riya masters the mischief skill. She likes to pull pranks on others at the festival but it was not expected.
During the night, Riya went into labor. Robert panics but Riya keeps her cool, best she can in the circumstances. They head to the hospital.
Riya goes to the hospital and signs in. Her doctor is Justice Watkins like all others in this challenge.
Welcome to the world little BOY!?!?! It was a surprise to the parents when they were told it was a girl during pregnancy. Someone was wrong but the parents were happy either way.
Introducing little baby Charles Ventura. He’s already getting so much attention from his parents. They love him so much.
Robert updates the room for his son quickly after Charles arrives home. It’s a cute room too.
That’s the end of week 1 of the winter with the Ventura Family. Let’s see what next week has in store…

Marry a sim with the Loves Outdoors trait (optional)- Plant one of every harvestable (optional)
Have either founder or spouse complete the Angling Ace Aspiration (optional)
Robert is working on Freelance Botanist aspiration still and trying to complete his collection of plants which still not completed. I will try for all but we’ll see how the generation goes. Robert had his first child, let’s hope getting a girl child is easy and not too many more babies needed. Hope you enjoyed this week and see you in next week!
